Meet the Tutors

Brenda Small

Brenda is a certified teacher with a BA in History and a BA in Education from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate holder in Inclusive Education from Queen’s University. She specializes in supporting English language learners, developing writing skills, teaching math up to Grade 10, and nurturing fine arts talents, particularly in drawing and painting. Her teaching approach is personalized, tailored to each student’s individual needs, promoting academic growth and creative development through encouragement, structured guidance, and meaningful real-world applications.

Naomi Small

Naomi is a third-year honours student at the University of British Columbia’s Faculty of Science. She offers expertise and passion in math, science, physics, biology, writing, and digital art. Her tutoring approach prioritizes deep understanding rather than rote memorization, fostering strong problem-solving abilities and boosting students’ confidence in STEM disciplines.

    All prices are competitive within the Canadian tutoring market and reflect the quality of expert instruction provided. Discounts are structured to reward group learning while ensuring each student receives ample support.
